What are the differences between Much and Many?
Much and Many are used to describe amount of things and below are the differences between these quantifiers:
Much = uncountable nouns
Many = countable nouns

Alright, let’s have a look at each of today’s quantifiers to learn the differences:
Much:
You need to use (Much) when speaking about things that you can’t count.
Examples:
I don’t have much water in my bottle. (we can’t count water, and so we need to use Much)
She does not have much homework. (homework is uncountable, we can’t add -s- to homework – homeworks).

much time
Many:
You need to use (Many) when speaking about things that you can count.
Examples:
many books
many bottles
many ideas
There are many students in the class
She has many friends
How to ask questions using (much and many)?
You need to look at the noun, and decide:
Use (how many) if the noun is countable.
Use (how much) if the noun is uncountable.
Examples:
How many tables and chairs do you have in the classroom?
How much sugar does she need in her coffee?
How many days do they need to finish the project?
How to form negative sentences using (Much and Many)?
Well, you just need to add (not) to much and many. Let’s have a look at the following much and many examples:
I don’t have much time left.
He doesn’t many books on his shelf.
