Well, the interesting thing in ‘Every Summer After’ is the timelines, as you feel that you are experiencing going back and forth between the past and present for about six summers. You get to feel the small town, second-chance relationship, childhood friends, friends who become lovers and then strangers once again, and so many other elements that you would somehow experience in this ‘Every Summer After’ book. ๐Ÿ˜Š It takes you to experience and feel the exact social elements that we experience in real-life situations.

When I mentioned about childhood friends, I meant ‘Percy and Sam,’ whose childhood connection is really strong; they live in the same neighborhood. Percy is thirty years old and experiences a breakup, but she does not seem to let the breakup affect her, probably because she was not really interested in him from the start of their seven-month relationship.
